Key Points

In the EMC Experimental Seminar Interference Immunity - Basics and Troubleshooting you will acquire basic knowledge of interference immunity on assemblies. Design strategies for interference-resistant module design and circuit dimensioning are derived from this. Using numerous practical examples, the speaker will present steps for interference suppression of assemblies with appropriate EMC measuring instruments.

As a seminar participant, you will carry out a large number of EMC experiments yourself. You will check the knowledge gained and independently suppress interference in a module at your own experimental station.

The following topics are covered:

  • Influence of electronic devices
  • Influence on the PCB - electrical component
  • Interference on the PCB - magnetic component
  • Practical interference suppression of an electronic control system with microcontroller
  • Signal interference at interfaces and device design
